Poetry on High begins with a workshop, this week about found poetry and alternative styles of sourcing inspiration and material.
Then, we move into our "featured artist" portion. Our featured artist this month is Anthony Roberts, a veteran of Baltimore and Afghanistan. He is an Adjunct Professor of Writing at Fairleigh Dickinson University where he is also on the staff of The Literary Review. He is a graduate of The New School in New York City with a Master of Fine Arts degree in creative writing. His poetry has appeared in The Other Voices Literary Anthology, Southerly Literary Journal, and has been translated in Czech, Persian, Bengali, Hebrew, and Italian. His book "Pigtown" will be released in February 2018 by Red Dashboard Publications.
Finally we'll end with an open mic session and everyone is welcome to share a few pieces.
